About Tamika Fields
Tamika Fields has over two decades of experience in public administration and leadership. She is skilled in public speaking, training development and facilitation, grant management, and project management. Tamika is passionate about professional development and encourages a spirit of “have fun while you work,” which she considers a worthwhile and rewarding pursuit.
As a contract administrator and administrative management professional, Tamika noticed a lack of a strong administrative organization and solid infrastructure within many small businesses and nonprofit organizations. She also recognized a need within these entities for guidance on how to manage contracts effectively and avoid the pitfalls of noncompliance. After seeing the need, she decided to bring a vision to fruition through establishing AsterLove Consulting Services.
Tamika holds a Bachelor of Science degree in health care management from Florida A&M University (Go, Rattlers!). She earned a Certified Public Manager® (CPM) designation from Florida State University’s Florida Center for Public Management (Go, Seminoles!) and a master’s degree in nonprofit management from the University of Central Florida (Go, Knights!).
